Brain Imaging Study

This is a brain imaging study for individuals with social anxiety.

Eligibility Criteria

Male, Female

18 to 40 years old

Experience severe shyness or anxiety in social setting/in front of others

No current drug or alcohol abuse

No unstable medical condition

No neurological illness (seizures, epilepsy) or head trauma

No metal implants in body

Not pregnant/ breastfeeding

Not claustrophobic

Not have been exposed to radiation more than 4 times (in the past year)

Study Tasks

Will get blood drawn
MRI
Cognitive tests
PET scan
