Researchers at TAGlab at the University of Toronto are studying how to design senior-friendly smartspeaker technologies. We are interested in older adults' perceptions and preferences of smartspeakers before and after using them. We are looking for participants who are interested in completing the following: 1) one opening interview (1.5hr-2hr); 2) deployment period where you try an Amazon Alexa for up to two weeks; and, 3) a final interview (1.5hr-2hr) on the experience. Participants must have a tablet or a touchscreen computer with internet access and a smartphone with internet access. Participants will be compensated $30 and allowed to keep the Amazon Alexa Echo Dot that was used in the study.
Participant must be living in Canada or the United States of America.
