Older Adults' Perceptions of Smartspeakers

University of Toronto, Technologies for Ageing Gracefully (TAGlab)

Researchers at TAGlab at the University of Toronto are studying how to design senior-friendly smartspeaker technologies. We are looking for participants who are interested in completing the following: 1) one opening interview (1.5hr-2hr); 2) deployment period where you try an Amazon Alexa for up to two weeks; and, 3) a final interview (1.5hr-2hr) on the experience. Participants must have a tablet or a touchscreen computer with internet access and a smartphone with internet access. Participants will be compensated $30 and allowed to keep the Amazon Alexa Echo Dot that was used in the study.
