The Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education at the University of Toronto is conducting a research study to determine if post-exercise nutrition impacts the health benefits of a single session of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) in women.

A total of 10 visits to our lab in the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Visit 1 (~1h): Study introduction, consent and health/physical activity questionnaires. Visit 2 (~1.5h): Body composition analyses and fitness assessment (VO2peaktest). Two Metabolic Trials: 3 or 5 days in length with daily visits to the lab (~15min to 3h per visit).
