Does Xyrem influence brain dopamine in patients with narcolepsy?

Researchers at CAMH are conducting a PET (positron emission tomography) imaging study to examine the effect of Xyrem, a prescription sedative, on brain dopamine in patients with narcolepsy and in healthy controls.

Eligibility Criteria

All genders

19 to 95 years old

Diagnosis of narcolepsy with cataplexy OR healthy control without sleeping disorder

Medically / Physically / Mentally healthy (except for narcolepsy)
