Adolescent Brain Imaging Study! Healthy Volunteers Wanted

We are studying differences in how the brains of boys and girls develop during adolescence, and we are interested in how gender identity and brain development are related.

Eligibility Criteria

Male, Female

12 to 17 years old

have not ever experienced a disorder of sex development or hormone regulation

have not had previous sex hormone therapy

have not previously seen a mental health professional

have not been in a special education class at school

have not had involvement with a child protection agency

do not have severe claustrophobia

are not wearing orthodontics that cannot be removed (i.e., braces)

have not had a head trauma

non-pregnant
