Paid Working Memory EEG Study

Sunnybrook Health and Sciences Center, Cochlear Implant Research Lab


This study is to understand what brain oscillations that are involved in the stages of working memory and determine if there is a difference between individuals with a cochlear implant and those with normal hearing.

Eligibility Criteria

Male, Female

60 to 70 years old

Study Tasks

Participants will be given a list of 7 characters (letters and numbers) to remember and then will be asked if a certain character was in the list

Ethics

This study has been approved by Sunnybrook's Research Ethics Board.
