Our goal is to understand how pregnant people are affected by the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic, and track the emotional, physical, and cognitive health of those affected and their babies.
The information collected from the study will identify factors (i.e., prenatal stress, maternal depression, nutrition, physical activity, sleep) that predict risk or resilience for maternal and neonatal health outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic. This information can be used for public health campaigns directed towards pregnant women to promote healthy pregnancies during the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, epidemics or future pandemics.
