It can be challenging for both the medication user and the caregiver to keep track of multiple medications. The purpose of this study to introduce a home medication management system to help people better manage the task of taking multiple medications every day and to provide support to caregivers. Medication users will be asked to interact with a small counter-top appliance during each medication taking session and caregivers will be able to monitor adherence via a phone app or email. One of the pieces that is being tested is a medication bowl that, by pressing a button, takes a picture of the medications right before they are taken. The pictures are sent automatically to the caregivers via phone app or email. The study will collect participant experience, ideas and feedback to incorporate into the design of the system.
Both caregiver and medication user required to participate in the study

Medication users able to take medication unassisted
