Mindfulness Research Study

Ryerson University, Department of Psychology, Stress and Healthy Aging Lab


Ryerson University's Stress & Healthy Aging Lab is looking for older Canadian adult participants to participate in the 9-week mindfulness program study. If you are 60 years or older, identify as a Canadian immigrant, and experience moderate to high levels of stress, you may be eligible to participate in this study.

Eligibility Criteria


All genders

At least 60 years old

Identify as a Canadian immigrant

Experience moderate to high levels of stress on a daily basis

Identify as an individual from a lower SES background

Study Tasks


Fill out questionnaires
Do a computer task
Participate in a qualitative interview
Go through the 9-week mindfulness program

Ethics


This study has been approved by the Ryerson University Research Ethics Board.
