Traumatic Brain Injury - Brain Imaging Study

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Research Imaging Centre

The CAMH Research Imaging Centre is investigating inflammation in the brain of people suffering from traumatic brain injury (TBI) and depression. We will be measuring the level of a protein called monoamine oxidase B (MAO-B), which we think will be elevated in TBI and depression. Ultimately we hope that this study will lead to the development of future cures that can target MAO-B.
