Responding quickly and learning from the world around us is an important part of human behaviour. This study aims to understand how quickly people learn and consolidate new memories when they are required to make very fast responses. In this project, you will be asked to do various response time task on two separate sessions - one week apart. Session 1 will take approximately 20 minutes and session 2 approximately 25 minutes.
This study looks at the learning and memory consolidation of tasks that require fast responses which is an essencial skill in our day to day lives. Given this, learning more about these processes may have practical implications for individuals with disordered processing of these types of memories.
