NeuroCovid19: Brain imaging of survivors

Sunnybrook Research Institute, Hurvitz Brain Science Program

The purpose of this study is to understand whether there are any effects of the COVID-19 virus in the brain. The goal is to gather information on the brain as people recovery from COVID-19.

Your Impact

These anticipated findings will help to raise awareness of the impact of COVID-19 on the brain, for improved patient management during the acute phase of the disease. This study will help promote efforts to treat these patients more rapidly and effectively by cognitive rehabilitation and cognitive-enhancing medications. We anticipate that the data collected during this urgent time will also be useful in later studies looking at long-term impact of COVID-19 .
