Are you a daily smoker intending to quit? The Nicotine Dependence Clinic invites individuals who wish to quit smoking to participate in a research study involving non-invasive brain stimulation and varenicline (Champix). This is a treatment study, medication will be provided free of charge. Financial compensation will be provided. Must be available on weekdays.

Optimizing treatments for smoking cessation is of vital importance to decrease the rate of smoking-related diseases in the developed world.
Intending to quit smoking
Not taking any drugs or medications that could interact with the treatment
Not pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding
Able to attend 10 consecutive weekday sessions and 5 booster sessions
Able to attend three MRI brain scan session (1 hour each)
This study has been approved by the CAMH Research Ethics Board (044-2016)
