Do You Have Depression?

St. Michael's Hospital, Arthur Sommer Rotenberg Suicide & Depression Studies Program


Psychiatry researchers at St. Michael's Hospital are studying suicide risk. Researchers will try to determine whether there are biological markers for suicide risk. Participation will involve multiple visits completing questionnaires about your mood, performing attention tests, and receiving brain imaging. You may be eligible if you are between the ages of 18-70, have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder, have no current medical illness, and if you have ever contemplated suicide or made an attempt.

18 to 70 years old

diagnosed major depressive disorder

healthy

contemplated or attempted suicide
