Perceptions of Languages and Bilingualism

In this study, participants will be asked questions about their language background. Then participants will be shown a number of different language use scenarios and asked to make a judgment of the scenarios on a presented scale. The study will take between 30 minutes and one hour to complete.

Your Impact


By participating in this study, we will begin to explore and uncover the ways in which language experiences are fluid and continuous. This study seeks to understand how individuals perceive languages and bilingualism which will then help clarify what it means to be bilingual.

Eligibility Criteria


All genders

At least 18 years old

Participants will be asked a number of questions about their language use and background
