Have you tried antidepressants, and are you still struggling with depression?

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Research Imaging Centre


The CAMH Research Imaging Centre and the University of Toronto are using a new type of brain scan to determine if inflammation is present in clinical depression. If it is present we will offer participation in a study of anti-inflammatory medication. This study is for clinical depression that has not responded to several different medications.

Eligibility Criteria

All genders

18 to 65 years old

currently taking an antidepressant

not responding to antidepressants

not currently taking street drugs

non-smoking
